What makes DHI different?
In DHI, harvested follicles are loaded into a fine implanter and placed directly into the recipient area. Unlike classic channel-opening methods, placement and implantation happen in one controlled movement.
This makes DHI especially useful when the goal is a natural frontal hairline, dense placement between existing hairs, or a no-shave option for suitable candidates.

What is DHI hair transplantation?
DHI, Direct Hair Implantation, is a hair-transplant technique where grafts are placed directly into the scalp with an implanter pen. It is valued for control over depth, angle and direction.
Is DHI better than FUE?
Not automatically. DHI can be excellent for hairline detail and density, while FUE is often efficient for larger coverage. The best choice depends on donor quality, target area and your goals.
Can DHI be done without shaving?
In selected cases, yes. A no-shave or partial-shave DHI plan may be possible, especially for smaller areas. Suitability is confirmed during consultation.
How long does DHI recovery take?
Most patients return to light daily life within a few days. Redness and tiny scabs usually settle over the first couple of weeks when aftercare is followed correctly.
When will I see DHI results?
Early shedding is normal in the first weeks. New growth often starts around month three, improves through months six to nine and matures around twelve months.
Is DHI painful?
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. You may feel pressure or vibration, but significant pain is not expected during the operation.
